Jar Show

Working on this project was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had since I've been in the Art Program at BYU. One of my teachers came up with a plan for each of the 16 students in our class to create 20 paintings of mason jars. In these paintings we used different processes and styles to make a variety of effects. After we spent an entire semester making these we held a show in which we donated all the jars to be sold for $10 each with all the money being contributed to charity. In the end I believe that arouth $2500 was raised for charity just before Christmas. It was a really amazing experience!
